Senior Placement Services in Tucson

Tucson has more senior living options than anywhere else in southern Arizona. We help you cut through them to the handful that actually fit, at no cost to your family.

Tucson is where A Senior Journey began, and it is still the heart of what we do. As a senior placement agency based right here in the city, we spend our weeks inside Tucson’s assisted living communities, adult care homes, memory care neighborhoods, and independent living campuses. When we recommend a place, it is because we have walked its halls, met its caregivers, and matched it honestly against what your family needs. Our placement help is always free to your family.

Why Does Finding Senior Living in Tucson Take Local Knowledge?

Tucson has more licensed senior living than anywhere else in southern Arizona, spread from the Catalina Foothills to the east side, midtown, and the northwest. Arizona licenses everything from large assisted living centers to adult care homes with ten or fewer residents, and two places with similar brochures and similar prices can feel completely different once you are inside. Availability changes week to week, too. Because we tour these communities year round, we can tell you which ones have an opening this month, how their staffing holds up on evenings and weekends, and what the quoted rate does and does not include.

What Do Your Tucson Placement Services Include?

Our help looks the same across the city, and it always starts with listening:

  • A conversation about care needs, daily routines, budget, and what matters most to your loved one
  • A short list of licensed Tucson communities and adult care homes that fit, whether that is independent living, assisted living, memory care, or in-home support
  • In-person tours with Amanda or Kristine alongside you, with the right questions asked before you sign anything
  • Straight answers about pricing, contracts, and care levels
  • Follow-up after the move to make sure the new home feels right

If you are weighing options, our assisted living, independent living, and in-home care pages explain how each service works.

What Does It Cost?

Nothing, ever. Our placement service is free to your family. We are paid by the communities we partner with, and that never changes who we recommend. If the right answer for your loved one is a small adult care home we have no relationship with, that is the one we will tell you about. For your own budgeting, assisted living in the Tucson area typically starts around $3,500 per month and independent living around $2,200; our guide to the cost of assisted living in Arizona covers what drives the price and how ALTCS can help.

Which Parts of Tucson Do You Cover?

All of them. We help families across midtown, the east side, the Foothills, the northwest side, and everywhere in between, plus the surrounding communities of Oro Valley, Marana, Sahuarita, and Green Valley. Being local means we can meet you at a community the same week you call, and often sooner.

How Do We Start?

Start with a phone call or the callback form. There is no intake paperwork and no pressure, just a conversation about your situation and honest guidance on what to do next. Families tell us the biggest relief is having someone beside them who has done this more than 1,200 times and knows what a fair contract looks like.
